A store sees where each visit comes from. A visit from a data center looks like a bot. A visit from your home looks like you.

## How it works: three steps, in this order

You set it up one time. After that, your agent shops from your device each time.

1. **Install Deputant.** Install the Deputant app on your computer. Then sign in.
2. **Open your virtual computer.** Deputant opens a virtual computer on your device. It uses your internet and your accounts.
3. **Your agent shops.** Your agent shops on the virtual computer. If a step needs a human, your agent asks you first.

## What your agent gets: the setup you already use

Your agent does not start from zero. It uses the same connection and accounts you already use.

- **Your internet.** Your agent uses your home internet. Stores see the connection you use every day. This means fewer blocks.
- **Your accounts.** Your agent uses the accounts you are signed in to. It sees your saved addresses and order history.
- **Your vault at checkout.** Your agent pays with a card from your Deputant Vault. You choose which agents can use each card.

Yes. The virtual computer runs on your own device. Your agent uses the same internet connection as your other apps. Stores see your connection, not a data center.

### Does my computer need to stay on?

Yes, while your agent shops. The virtual computer runs on your device. Your device must be on and connected to the internet.

### What about my privacy?

You choose what each agent can see. Turn on the privacy filter, and Deputant checks each request. It hides what that agent does not need.

### Does this break store rules?

Your agent uses your own account, the same way you would. It acts as you, so the usual store rules apply. Follow each store's terms, the same as when you shop yourself.

### Which agents work?

Muse, Grok Bot, Instinct, Hark, Dots, and others. Other companies make these agents. You can connect a new agent at any time.
