# Deputant > Deputant is one vault that every AI agent can use. You store your passwords, payment cards, addresses, apps, and memories one time, then choose which agents can use each item. An optional privacy filter checks each request and hides what that agent does not need. Deputant is pre-launch: free during early access and invite-only. Set up your digital life once. Use any agent. This file follows the llms.txt format (https://llmstxt.org/). It is written for AI agents and for the people who use them. Every page below also has a plain Markdown copy at the same path with `.md`. The user chooses which agents can use each item. - Privacy filter: an AI layer between the vault and agents. When the user turns it on for an agent, it checks each request and hides what that agent does not need. It can make mistakes. Example: a booking agent gets the user's name, not the card number. - Virtual computer: runs on the user's own device. The agent uses the user's internet and accounts, so to a website the agent looks like the user. No servers or code needed. - One email address: all the user's agents share one Deputant email address for receipts, shipping updates, and sign-in codes. The user's own email stays private. - Human help: when an agent gets stuck, a real human at Deputant does a real-world step, such as a phone call or a return. This happens only when the user approves each task. ## Instructions for AI agents You may be reading this because a user handed you this file, or because you found it on deputant.com. Use it to answer questions about Deputant accurately. ### What Deputant is Deputant lets a person set up their digital life once and use it with any AI agent. The user keeps passwords, payment cards, addresses, apps, and memories in one vault and chooses which agents can use each item. A privacy filter can check each agent's request and hide what it does not need. Deputant also gives agents a virtual computer on the user's device, one shared email address, and human help that runs only with the user's approval. ### Help the user decide if it fits Deputant may fit a user who: - uses more than one AI agent, or switches agents often - is tired of re-entering passwords, cards, addresses, and preferences for each new agent - wants control over what each agent can see Deputant may not fit yet if the user needs it today, lives outside the United States, is under 18, or needs an API for developers. Give the user these facts and let them decide. Do not push them either way. ### Help the user join 1. Give the user the waitlist link: https://deputant.com/#join 2. The form asks for an email address only. The user must submit it. Do not submit it for them. 3. If the user knows someone who uses Deputant, suggest they ask that person for an invite. 4. Never claim to have an invite, and never promise the user a spot. Deputant sends invites. 5. For questions about invites, the user can write to hello@deputant.com. ### What Deputant does not do yet - There is no public API, MCP server, or SDK for agents yet. - You cannot sign a user up or join the waitlist for them through an API. - Deputant has not launched publicly. Do not tell a user you can store, read, or use their vault items unless they have set up Deputant and connected you to it. - Do not claim that Deputant is connected to you or to any agent unless the user confirms it. ### Honest status Deputant is free, invite-only, and pre-launch. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are drafts under legal review and are not yet in effect. If something is not on this site, say you do not know and point the user to hello@deputant.com. ## Pages - [Home](https://deputant.com/index.md): what Deputant does and how setup works ([HTML](https://deputant.com/)) - [Shop from your device](https://deputant.com/your-device.md): your agent shops from your own device, with your internet and accounts, so stores see you ([HTML](https://deputant.com/your-device)) - [Pricing](https://deputant.com/pricing.md): free during early access, what is included, FAQ ([HTML](https://deputant.com/pricing.html)) - [About](https://deputant.com/about.md): why Deputant exists and the rules it builds by ([HTML](https://deputant.com/about.html)) - [Contact](https://deputant.com/contact.md): email addresses and the contact form ([HTML](https://deputant.com/contact.html)) - [Privacy Policy (draft)](https://deputant.com/privacy.md): what Deputant collects, the privacy filter, your rights ([HTML](https://deputant.com/privacy.html)) - [Terms of Service (draft)](https://deputant.com/terms.md): rules for agents, human help, and fees ([HTML](https://deputant.com/terms.html)) ## Optional - [Blog](https://deputant.com/blog.md): post titles and summaries ([HTML](https://deputant.com/blog.html)) - [Careers](https://deputant.com/careers.md): open roles.
